Pastor Mike Graham was born and raised in Lewisville, TX. Throughout his youth, Mike was involved with programs like AWANA and Young Life. He made the decision to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior at the age of 10. After graduating from high school, Mike enrolled in college and joined the Army National Guard.
It was in Texas that he met his wife Alison. Shortly after being married, Mike served on deployment in Iraq as a medic. Not long after returning from deployment, Mike and Alison decided to move to North Carolina to be near his mother and step-father. Mike then joined the Greenville Fire and Rescue Department; completing paramedic training. While in North Carolina, Mike and Alison made the decision to start a family; welcoming their first daughter, Dulcie, shortly thereafter. Mike and Alison bought their first home and a year later welcomed their second daughter, Rowan to their family.
Having a heart for youth, Mike began serving in his church as a youth leader; working with junior high, senior high, and college students. During this time, Mike felt a strong calling to ministry and began his education with Liberty University; working toward a Bachelor of Science in Religion: Christian Ministries. In late 2016, Mike had an amazing ministry opportunity arrive in his mailbox, and by December of that same year the Grahams had moved to northern Michigan and joined Northland as Associate Pastor of Youth and Family Ministries.
Mike’s passion is seeing students develop a lasting, healthy relationship with Jesus. He would love to meet you and will likely greet you with his slow southern drawl.
